I got tickets for two to "An Evening With Meryl."  I'm going to go with my mom because she likes Meryl.
 
I'm so excited. Is it October yet?????

I'm a little confused about the confirmation email/invoice that I was sent.  I might email or call them tomorrow. On the site it said I'd recieve a second email when the product was shipped, but on the bottom of the email I recieved it says... This receipt acts as your ticket. Please bring it with you to the first class.

Oh well. I'm too excited to worry about that now.

  My sweet and amazingly talented friend Jannette, aka totallyjoshed  made this wallpaper for me quite a while ago in an attempt to cheer me up. Well you can consider your mission accomplished sleepy jean . I still love it and have yet to find anything worthy enough to replace it.
                 
   Ps. I love that you like the Devil Wears Prada too. Now if I can just turn you into a Meryl Streep fan ;).

I would never try to change myself in order to get someone to go out with me. EVER. Absolutely not. I don't understand how anyone can think that is a good idea. I would never pretend to be someone I'm not, or attempt to turn into someone else,  in order to get someone to love me. If I did that then they wouldn't really love me at all, would they? They'd love the person I tried to turn, or change, myself into.

I also look at it from the other person's point of view. I would hate it if someone did that to me. It would be like thinking you just got a pet ferret only to find out that it's actually a chinchilla.  I don't know about anyone else but I prefer to know who I'm getting into bed with, so to speak.

Plus what would happen down the road when you don't want to force yourself to change for that person anymore? 

What you see is pretty much what you get with me. Love me.. don't love me, like me or don't like me. I'll live. At least I'll know that you don't like me because of who I am. 

As for changing while in a relationship, I think I have changed in some ways during the past two years. I haven't really tried to change myself so much as I think I have grown in certain ways.

Happy 18th Birthday Steph! I hope you get exactly what you want this year.  (Money, so you can come see me :D).
